How do I set up voicemail on my mobile phone?

From your mobile phone, press and hold 1 or the Voicemail key.
Do one of the following:
- For a new voicemail box—follow the prompts to create your password and greeting.
- For an existing voicemail box—enter your password if prompted. Your voicemail greeting and messages will transfer over to your new phone.

DETAILED STEPS

New voicemail and password setup

Make sure to set up your voicemail within 60 days of activation or it'll be automatically removed from your account.

From your wireless phone, press and hold 1 or the Voicemail key.
Select your language preference.
Create a 7 to 15-digit password.
Select your preferred greeting.
Listen to the brief voicemail tutorial.

If you hang up before the tutorial completes, it will play again the next time you check voicemail.

Existing voicemail setup on new phone

Press and hold 1 or the Voicemail key.
Enter your current voicemail password, if prompted. Your current voicemail greeting and messages will transfer to your new phone.
